Someone told me you have to wash your veggies thoroughly when I asked why he said do you see toilets out there?

Exactly. Those jobs don’t have sick days and benefits. I know a woman whose family worked on farms in Salinas, CA. A lot of them died from cancer from years of exposure to pesticides and fertilizers. I see people talking about paying fair wages, but not about how that’s going to wreck the economy when food prices are adjusted accordingly.
