They pick fruit early in the morning.Personally, I think they should automate more of the process or just make these after school jobs for teens and pay better wages
An average work day is 10 hours, not 8.
And those 2 hours are not overtime
They can't do that after school.
You have to pay those kids minimum wage, not what you pay illegal immigrants under the table.
Those food items spike in price if minimum wage teenagers are picking them.
Y'all always tryna find "quick solutions" to problems that require way more.

Exchange time from your sentence for work no one else wants to do for grunt wages. Seems to solve both issues presented here. So yea, what’s the issue with criminals taking over for the illegals? Definition of community service. Your ass drives drunk? Go pick some fukking radishes
The problem with that is that you incentivize putting more people in prison since the food production pipeline would then depend upon it.
If the price of corn depended on how many people were locked up last month, what do you think would happen?

And then the next step is finding more ways to criminalize blackness and longer sentences.
I think they can fast track legal status for folks that work in farming. Should help the farmers partially until alot of the folks know they can get paid way more than $7hr doing somthing else now that they got papers. Tough spot to be in huh

There are only three choices he can make.
1. Deport no illegals.
1. Democrats, anti-maga Republicans, maga Republicans and anyone else against Trump will use it as ammo during and after his presidency. America doesnt suffer economically. Worst option as far as optics for a presidency amongst his supporters goes.
2. Deport selectively.
2. Democrats and anti-maga Republicans (maga Republicans will forgive him) will use it as ammo. America suffers somewhat. Best option because it rides the fence, gives plausible denial.
3. Deport indiscriminately. Nuclear option. His most loyal supporters will ignore the economic destruction, most others will realize how bad decision it was. Goes down in flames. American citizens will reluctantly fill in the jobs as our nation undergoes a new normalization of ever increasing low paying jobs to fill in the void left behind.
