Scream about the evils of capitalism and low wages but don't want to pay American citizens living wages to work on the farms.
Exactly. Those jobs don’t have sick days and benefits. I know a woman whose family worked on farms in Salinas, CA. A lot of them died from cancer from years of exposure to pesticides and fertilizers. I see people talking about paying fair wages, but not about how that’s going to wreck the economy when food prices are adjusted accordingly.
