Legally these text might help him . However in the court of public opinion they do nothing for him and may even hurt him with people on the fence as they read like a DV victim who covering for his abuser. He need to release that video

still can't get over that "I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone" line
basic analysis of English as written text will tell you that something ensued/happened as a result of the alleged victim trying to grab Majors' phone. Something for which she now feels/told the cops she's culpable for. The admission that a reaction occurred to the action of her trying to grab his phone coupled with her bruises and them supposedly being the only two parties involved - paints a horrible picture for Majors.
I genuinely can't understand how - what I assume to be an expensive lawyer - would think leaking these would be a good idea.
Did the House of Mouse sanction this?
Majors needs whatever video footage exists to be in 4K, he needs to be 6 feet away from her at all times and she needs to slip on a banana peel to explain the bruises. That's the corner his lawyer supposedly crafted for him with these antics
