Interest in this shyt was already dying down. You had guys claiming "they" were trying to bring another black man down and even people claiming he was victim of a lying white bytch only for his lawyer to intentionally drum interest back up by releasing those texts.
Whoever his lawyer is just sabotaged his career even further. Only a video absolving him of any wrongdoing can save his image now.

A fight in and of itself doesn’t warrant criminal charges. And that they had a fight isn’t really in question. Nor is the fact that she had injuries (regardless of if this was public knowledge, there are surely photos and cop testimony so the lawyers knew they existed) without knowing what caused those injuries.
JMs story is that they had a fight, she was wilding out so he called the cops for her own good. For those that believe this story, the texts support the notion that he called the cops for her own good along with the notion that she is/was being pressured by law enforcement to accuse JM of beating her. I suspect that’s how the lawyers hoped they’d be interpreted.
For those who don’t believe that story, the texts read like someone trying to protect their golden ticket/abuser. Even though she never says he caused the injuries, it’s a reasonable leap to assume that the injuries were caused by JM during the fight so it’s not surprising that it’s a leap being made.
So, again, the messages aren’t going to get anyone to change their stance and can/will just be used to bolster their preconceived notions so it really made no sense to release them.

And “not victims” claim they are not victims.
Then how the hell do we tell who’s the damn victim?
You have no video of him being a perpetrator, so why would you need video to believe he isn’t?
You should only put out text messages if there a CLEAR “I’m sorry I made up that story. I was so angry” portion to immediately clear your name. Putting out texts that confirm some kind of altercation actually happened is just silly. Instead of full exoneration they should have just bit the “we were both abusive” bullet.
