It's true. Hogan's heel turn made lame ass Sting more popular. Flair made everyone a popular face and the Rock shytting on his opponents automatically made them a heel.

Austin held it from WrestleMania 17 all the way to December 01 (gave it to Kurt for like 2 weeks when a ppv was in Pittsburg)

HHH held it from Jan 2000 till April 2000... Won it back in like June and held it until they gave Kurt the belt..

Rock never got a run like either of them two..

Nah... HHH had it from January to April, lost it to Rock, won it back in May (the Iron Man match), lost it back to Rock in June. Rock held it until October and lost it to Angle. Angle held it until losing it back to Rock in Feb. 2001.

But it is true that Rock never got to run with it for a long period of time. The longest run he had was the four months in 2000. Austin's run in 2001 was the longest run anyone had with it in five years (the last being Michaels in '96 from March to November). Between '97 and '01, no one held it for longer than 6 months at a time.
