You dont have that option when all the hospital beds are full. That's the reality of the coronavirus. Doctors aren't choosing who lives or dies because they have a choice in the matter....

Private hospitals in Italy still had room until the government begged them to take patients.

Understand what I asked ..if our system is overloaded like theirs there won't be anywhere to transfer to.

Then what?

the public system is overloaded. They’re begging private hospitals to take patients.

in fact in Spain they had to take over private hospitals bc they realized the public hospitals weren’t enough.

Ppl with private insurance in both Spain and Italy were able to receive care quicker in non crowded hospitals.

in the USA you can go to both private doctors and non profit hospitals(which is the best comparison to public hospitals)

You can do that with M4A too...depends how you implement the system

Also, if all of those hospitals in Spain were public already maybe they wouldn't have had the shortage.

There's many ways to look at this.

And like Mook said, regarding the right to transfer, that's assuming you can afford it.

You said that blacks would be the most vulnerable because of theirs underlying chronic diseases...but what about the underlying poverty...how we gonna take our grandma to a private hospital if we can't pay?

Op too stupid to realize this would happen in any system and only the rich are safe. fukking moron :russ:

Unfortunately you’re wrong again.

triaging (rationing) Healthcare in America only applies to new cases for emergencies.

they can’t do it to current patients already under their care. They can’t pull you off icu when u been there for a week to let someone else take it due to a corona outbreak.

In Italy they can, in the USA they can’t.

Guess u were too dumb to realize that and just wanted to post misinformation.

Just googled this.
Private hospitals account for 25% of hospitals in America. 95%+ of them accept health insurance. Most ppl have visited a private hospital and go to them including blacks.

If you have insurance you can go to a private hospital.

Here's a Q:

What do you do about hospital price gouging? A lot of these people even with insurance get huge ass bills they can't pay.

Most of that is due to surprise billing from my understanding. What Bernie didn’t tell y’all was surprise billing is still going to exist under m4all. He added the same backdoor excuse we already have now in the bill. Certain things for “medical necessity” won’t be covered.

On his website he lists “cosmetic surgery”. But the real list consists of thousands of different things.

blacks are the first option to get the plug pulled. Idk why y’all support that :mindblown:

there’s nothing subjective about it. They pull the plug on people who have the worst health and we have the worst health.

there’s no grey area there at all. It’s black or white, with black ppl losing.
