And you are under the assumption that healthcare companies will act differently after this killing. They literally carried on with their meeting without giving a fukk.

Legislation needs to be enacted not dikkriding and killing.
I do agree with you here on each point.

The question is, who would actually push new laws to enact change?

This guy was an "anti capitalist" Musk supporter.

these young dudes are crash outs

They're chronically online taking in too much "info" from too many sources essentially overloading and breaking their brains with crap

5-6 years ago I didn't really agree with social media bans but now I think it's necessary albeit probably too late (the damage is done).

Given the choices presented at each election, at least of candidates with a real chance of winning and not some 3rd party outlier, it is easier to dikk ride a killer than elect a candidate who would support positive change for the people.

Look at how ACA protected these insurance companies. Democrats are pandering to these companies as much as the MAGAts
I remember Obama saying "think about the poor Insurance employees" when everyone was pushing for a single-payer system.

Democrats get more political donations from Healthcare Executives than Republicans.

Agreed on that last part, but unfortunately I feel they're too powerful for this to happen

I see one party pushed for caps on drug costs while the other said “fukk y’all”.

I see one party extended the age in which a dependent can be covered by their parent’s insurance while the other said “fukk yall”

I see one party is trying to put more money in consumers hands via student loan forgiveness, expanded child tax credit, first time home buyer funds, free pre-K, free school lunches…while the other party is saying “fukk Yall” while lowering corporate tax rates for companies like UnitedHealth.

So, respectfully, get the fukk outta my face with this “both sides” shyt.

One party is clearly for companies like UH, and all those Trump supporters (including likely the killer) are just dikk riders continuing to vote against their own interests.

look at the fake narratives that people push on this website.

the Democrats were pushing for a public option, the republicans rebuffed it and were rewarded for it

You constantly spew the laziest bullshyt on here.

You'd be an absolute moron to not acknowledge that both candidates were in the pockets of special interests.

The only fake narrative here is that one candidate is a saint, unbeholden to corporate overlords and the other isn't.

For fukk's sake, Kamala's brother in law works with Uber and was embedded in her campaign on behalf of them and many, MANY other tech companies from California.

If you wanted to know who would win ahead of time, look at who got the most "donations" from these corporations. Trump got 250 million from insurance, real estate and finance ALONE, compared to 58 million to Kamala.

Can't we all agree his actions were justified?
No. Unless your going to go after the the ceo of all the fast food companies feeding yall garbage food with all types of additives which cause health problem and kills folks.

Same thing with the ceos of the soft drink companies giving yall diabetes and killing folks with all those sugary drinks and high fructose corn syrup.

Yall gonna go after vape companies ceo's and cigar and cigarette companies too? They know their products cause cancer and killed thousands of people.

What are we talking about here? Yall sound dumb as hell. Does Healthcare need to be reformed? Of course it does. But don't prop up some privileged maga cac on a self serving crash out mission cause someone told him no for the first time in his life as some type of hero.

OH
vote for candidates who support patient-centric changes to our healthcare systems???
Lol not gonna happen when virtually all American politicians are whores for corporate lobbyists and the average American voter is easily persuadable into voting against their own interests because of "socialist" policies that the citizens of many other wealthy first-world countries get to enjoy :coffee:

Two cacs out the paint, I don't see why you are so bothered by it. Nice to see Italians continuing their favorite hobbies again.

You are not a human being who lives in reality.

As senator from California, Harris supported Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-VT) Medicare for All plan, which would have had the federal government provide all healthcare services as well as eliminate any role for private insurance.

From the same article:

Harris also during a June 2019 debate, six months into her 2020 presidential candidacy, endorsed the idea of abolishing all private health insurance, although she later tried to walk back her remarks as a statement about her personal preference rather than a policy position.

I live in a reality where a politician's opinions can change based on who is paying them more.

Join me in it when you're an adult.

you are distracting to political cycle points

The whole point is that her base position started out as medicare for all.

Nothing disputes the initial point I made that she supported Bernie's medicare for all.

Again, you dont live in reality.

My point is that she and Trump were both paid by Insurance companies to further Insurance companies' goals. Your point is irrelevant given that context.

Again, I and other adults live in a reality where politicians are paid to act on behalf of their corporate donors. Join us when you grow up.
