Are you saying people aren’t voting against their self interest?

you have to be able to risk assess here.

one party is far worse objectively for the people making less than 250k per year than the other party.

Democrats are weak, Republicans are dangerous.

Id rather deal with weak than dangerous

The wealthy have amassed the power and wealth because we vote in their interests, not ours.

If we want to change shyt, we have to understand that the least we can do to participate in the civic process is to vote. We need to be on these people’s asses 365 (Or 366) days a year. Pick the candidates we want, hope they win and be on their asses again.
:yeshrug: part of the the problem is that many people who vote, dont vote out of what would help them.

they vote on how worse off others would be.....

I don’t get your point.

The dangerous voted against their best interest.

@mastermind is parroting class babble. The people who vote, vote in their perceived best interest it’s just that the people who don’t vote, don’t vote for their best interest obviously.

Poor whites who vote consistently Republican care more about upholding white supremacy than economic considerations.

Just yesterday smooth mind was advocating for violent revolution while sitting behind a screen not so ironically waiting for someone else to do the “violent” and “revolution” parts for him. Let’s keep this in mind while engaging him.

Thanks for articulating, I’m not even being condescending.

Where i disagree slightly is that these people may care about making racism great again but they also don’t understand what’s in their best interest.

Most of these people don’t know anything about a tariff or how it works. They only know that it’s “a good thing” because they were told it was. They think a business man running the country like a business is “good” because he’s rich and knows business.

It’s easy to dupe these people into voting against their own interests. Knowingly or not.

Logically you’re correct but the poor whites aren’t voting on logic, they’re voting on emotion.

They believe they’re voting in their best interest even though in reality we know that they aren’t.

Racial bias for them overrules everything
