This is my favorite game of 2024 and I think it belongs with the all time greats. I just started making a spreadsheet sheet on different units and compositions. I want to play the game blind so I stay away from FAQs and YouTube. You can feel that the developers and the programers poured their soul into this. This is Vanillawares Magnum opus and I can respect how much time, money and care went into this.

Correct, the preview is mostly accurate (it doesn't account for either side's assists until after both units touch though)

But you'll get different results per skirmish even if both sides are 100% sometimes because the hit chances are different and someone might or might not be missing this time.

It's kind of confusing to explain in words but yeah

some of these 2 point moves realllllly gotta be switched off or to a certain condition was wondering why my flying units weren't getting clapped suddenly and its because they're defaulting to this new shyt

Downloaded the demo last night and immediately put down FF7 and binged through the time limit, going to cop tonight

This is absolute fire, and now that I'm using tactics and really strategizing my setups this is very addicting

Asking if a developers newest game not better than their last game isn't a real question? By your logic a game of the year award is impossible to give because just last year it was said that BGIII was better than TotK and Resi 4 Remake. All are completely different games.
