That first mission isnt a real mission and plays itself. It's pretty weird for an opening

The game becomes a little more clear after like 2/3 missions and you build your squad manually

I want to get this to support Vanillaware so that one day we may get another Muramasa or Dragon's Crown game. Maybe I'll wait for a sale.

As a big fan of FE9 and 10 this game does a lot of callbacks and similar things to those games and I appreciate that

But they learned the wrong lessons

That game saved the more complicated and difficult to undersrand mechanics for the end of the game. This shyt just has mechanic after mechanic after mechanic and doesn't pace it at all.

It's a great game but you have to be VERY patient and open to change in terms of strategy

if you ain't paid attention and understood what was happening, you will be CONSTANTLY washed by the second area zero hope or luck involved will get you through it

oh you didn't learn how to make the most of a shaman? tough titties its over for you now

What do you mean by the second area though? I have close to half the map cleared and I'm still on chapter 2 doing level 17-19 missions. B rank for my renown or whatever. Not playing on the highest difficulty but it feels like the challenge is just right, just need to switch up your formation a decent bit and use your valor points correctly.

What do you mean by the second area though? I have close to half the map cleared and I'm still on chapter 2 doing level 17-19 missions. B rank for my renown or whatever. Not playing on the highest difficulty but it feels like the challenge is just right, just need to switch up your formation a decent bit and use your valor points correctly.

drakenhold, its sort of the path you naturally head down because entering elfheim has a higher level but you can jump back and forth.

its not 'hard' but there are a lot of mechanics in the game where if you don't respect them, there is zero path for you to brute force things.

Nah the game is absolute fire

I just think from a game design perspective they should have handled it differently, the game isn't player friendly

It's not balls to the wall difficult, but I'm not skating by whatsoever, not even close

A lot of the missions im clearing by the skin of my damn teeth, especially because of the timer

Am I the only one just wandering around all continents doing random battles. I've literally just been jumping between three different areas doing whatever battle level is next.
