Myself and the wife just binge watched all 5 episodes yesterday.
Show is a classic in the making. Great writing and characters. Wife was skeptical (and pissed off) at first but she's hooked as well.

Show is solid from what i've seen so far...
I like how this show plays with the hollywood stereotypes and tropes of slave films and puts them flat on their face. We get introduced to the "white savior", the "c00n', etc...

The "white savoir" ends up being the slave catcher, the "c00n" who assist the master in punishing the other slaves ends up being the one who want's to leave the plantation the most and actually sets off the whole plan[/quote]

This show is flames. It's almost like a spy movie/thriller and I like how it kinda plays with the typical slave movie stereotypes. It's really well done.
I already hate this preacher who came to the plantation
