As much as we'd like to say what we wouldn't and wouldn't do in that situation, we really have no idea what we would've done. Cato had no love for Zeke or any of the rest of them. The truth of the matter was that a HUGE black man running with him was going to slow Cato down.

Now, I think Cato kind of "softened" as the time went by. He helped Moses get on the train (if only for Boo's sake). He taught Henry how to fight and has (had?) a soft spot for Rosalee once he saw that she was more than just a "house girl." Noah had to stop Cato from running to get Rosalee (at least temporarily), and even when he had the cart and all the money, he didn't leave either of them behind. When Noah left Cato to the slave catchers, you see the "ain't that a bytch" look on Cato's face. Maybe he knew it was karma for Zeke, or maybe he understood. I don't think episode nine Cato would've killed Zeke.

Yeah nikkas fought back a little and whites took a couple small Ls but nikkas were taking Ls all damn season long

What pissed me off the most was at the end of the season no real nikkas were free...not one

They all died except the main character

The fukk? FOUR of them are alive: Rosalee, Noah, Cato and Boo.

And this "white savior" whining is bullshyt. There WERE white abolitionists, and it would be ridiculous to pretend that there weren't. They are a small portion of the entire show. There are so many evil-ass cacs in this show, and I LOVE how the white mistress is depicted for exactly what they were: rotten to the core. None of that "well, it's my husband's fault" bullshyt. I would've been even happier if SHE died. My only problem was that Rosalee didn't murk the slave catcher.

WAIT WHAT? I was watching this show from Day 1 and I swear to God I don't remember any male or female slave being raped. I know sweet Rosalee was almost raped but she killed him. It's been a minute since I've seen season 1 (season finale), but that's something I had to remember.

Nevermind that Roselene was a house servant NOT BY CHOICE, she ended up not only completely FREE but getting trained by Harriet Tubman... the realest of all!

WAIT WHAT? I was watching this show from Day 1 and I swear to God I don't remember any male or female slave being raped. I know sweet Rosalee was almost raped but she killed him. It's been a minute since I've seen season 1 (season finale), but that's something I had to remember.

It was the party when Cato was chosen to sleep w/Bareback Shaw (read: be raped) while Noah got the gun. Noah mentioned that she regularly threw these parties out of the so-called goodness of her heart, but it was really just to screw her male slaves. Noah stated that he was always one of the ones picked.

One of the best lines in the entire season was when Cato said the first time he hit a white man, it felt like freedom. Let's look over Cato's history.

• He tried to run TWICE.
• He burned his own face to get rid of those R's that the cacs burned into his face.
• He was in the process of killing the overseer who tried to rape Rosalee when some people showed.
• He kicked another cac right the fukk over a boat with no hesitation. (Seeing that there *were* some Indian helpers, he might've killed someone who meant well.)
• He lit a cac on fire and possibly killed the other one when - still with me, @STAN JONES? - he liberated a group of slaves off the fukking plantation. (Edit: Cato stabbed the other man to death.)

Dude is the exact OPPOSITE of what a c00n is. He played his part in order to fool white people, no different than Ernestine did. They did what they had to do to survive because SLAVERY, DUMB ASS.
