I live in Robeson County and I been telling people Lumbees are racist as shyt.
Just as much if not more than Cacs.

I'm from Raeford lots of lumbees I grew up with and only in high school were they able to be like all the older people in our family racist as fukk that's why they don't come my games to watch us play.

yeah, it's common as hell. There are many known Aframs from those same stocks but they don't identify as "Indian" so you wouldn't be aware of it. For example, NBA player Mike Bibby comes from the same stocks as the Lumbee

She was the head of the New Jersey Board of Beauty Culture Control. She was the first African-American to graduate from Princeton High School.[1]

She was born on March 19, 1899 as Christine Moore in Princeton, New Jersey to William Moore Sr. (1863-1920) and Adelaide Williams, both from Hillsboro, North Carolina. Her siblings were Bessie Moore, Arthur C. Moore, and William Moore Jr. Her father migrated from Hillsboro, North Carolina to Princeton, New Jersey where he opened a shop buying and selling used clothes and furniture to the university students. She attended Princeton High School, where she was the first African-American to graduate.[2]

that cumbo blog (afram identified) has many posts in the comments where Lumbees and other related tribes admit they're mostly Afro-Euro with hardly any Amerindian after getting their DNA tested


Lumbees are fully Native American by identity and multi-ethnic by genetics. My Lumbee Indian descended DNA matches are anywhere between 5-20% African, 80-95% European and a few percent Native American and/or Asian. These ranges may or may not align with a broader sampling of Lumbee Indian DNA results if it were ever conducted.

This thread reminds me that where I used to live in Alabama there were a bunch of white people with the surname Congo. I always wondered what a genetic test would turn up on them. They too claimed to be part Indian. Funny thing is, a lot of them had really curly hair, and they even considered it a family trait, but they attributed it to their "Indian" ancestry.
