A man as learned as he says he is surely should have no problem going on google and searching available real estate. If he was truly interested in opening a school he could have been well on his way.

That $250k could've brought the property outright, and had some left over to repair whatever pipe, water, or structural damage that would've taken place due to people breaking in and stealing copper, etc. I'm no expert on the subject, but I know that much. Anyone who had a true goal and/or team to open an academy would know all this.

I could see asking for donations to keep it running, but he's had enough time and money to have some property to show for this effort.
