I think Starmer can in 2024 but Labour should have gone with a woman this time. I know she's polarizing but Jess Phillips would have gotten the female vote out.
Nah no one gives a shyt about Jess Phillips. Dont think the woman candidates right now are the best candidates. While Corbyn is done, he still has a lot of supporters, you can bet Phillips would get very few of their votes. Starmer on the otherhand should be able bridge the left over, he's clearly the most polished, best candidate

Interesting time to be the leader of the opposition. You have to thread this just right, but do it right and you will probably put yourself in a good position

Starmer needs to keep his foot firmly on Boris's neck from day 1 about this corona virus response. None of the respectful p*ssyfooting BS approach Corbyn had.
