Thank God Jon Jones is only 27 :blessed:

Seeing a once dominant fighter turn :flabbynsick: is sad...
...these dudes need to take a page out of Mayweather and Hopkins book.
Once you get a little older its all about picking your spots and just getting that W.

"You saw how that went, right? So, there’s nothing left to say. I fought for you, and that’s it. Thank you for the support. My family, I’m coming back home, I’m fine. Mission accomplished, mission given, but sometimes it’s like in Brazil, total corruption."

:dead:

I was cheering for Anderson and he clearly did more damage, but based on MMA scoring that wasn't a controversial decision at all to me. If he wouldn't have been clowning so much he would have won that fight easily.

Rewatched and convinced mma judges have no clue how to score things. Silva controlled the tempo of the fight and stood against the cage blocking strike after strike many times. And landed the more noticeable blows. You rarely see an mma fight where a fighter stands against the cage and doesn't get caught in a grapple or taken down.

MMA scoring is all messed up. If you can score on takedowns then you should be able to score for dodging punches and making a fighter look foolish.

MMA fans are morons and so are their judges

First time I seen Anderson use real defense instead of just head movement
He only lost the second round when he got clipped

he pressed the actions and controlled the cage, when he was up against the cage he was parrying, when decided to press he pressed, when he decided to keep in the center the fight was in the center

he hurt him bad in the fourth round near the end, one the first and the third cleary

ufc is a joke

Yeah, I rewatched to see if I missed something and Silva really was standing there letting Bisping throw while he parried or deflected nearly every punch. I don't know if I would even give round 2 to Bisping cause Silva controlled everything except for that last 20 seconds. What's the point of those long ass rounds if all it takes is one knockdown to win it?

From the 3 round on he was beating bisping ass, it wasn't even close

that eye poke was the best thing bisping landed, silva had me hurt bad in the 4th and the 5th

only thing more ridiculous, is the the dumb ass people talking about anderson was clowing when he was blocking and rolling lmao

I'm getting back to boxing MMA is for idiots

MMA is weird. I've watched it since the 90's when there were no rules and it was actually ultimate fighting. Now they want it to be a legit combat sport but penalize people for not fighting like apes in there. Silva put on a stand up clinic for nearly every round of that fight.

That's what I'm saying, he was up against the cage similar to how mayweather will purposely go to the ropes or the corner, roll and counter

he landed the clean punches, the oblique kicks, he did everything significant in the fight

the fact people can seriously have a different opinion shows nobody knows anything about effective striking

Silva landed the more damaging strikes. Bisping throw more volume. And he also had cage control. Yes Anderson slipped and dodged a lot. but to a judge, seeing a guy backed against the cage with his hands down while another is throwing punch after punch and being aggressive will always see points go to the later. Bisping clearly won. Silva was way too defensive and looking for that spectacular overhand right/up elbows counter. If he attacked like he was at the end of the 3rd and 4th we probably would have finished Bisping
