Long time Bisping fan but watching that was hard. Anderson needs a need coach and new camp, remove himself from those yes man trainers. He went in there and tried to point fight with the best point fighter in that division. Barely threw any kicks and the ones he did throw were so devastating, it blows my mind his corner didn't call for more of that. I hate watching fighters fall because their trainers allow the fighter to do w/e they want. I think Anderson with the right camp is a completely different fighter, he has all the tools to still win in that division.

edit: I don't think Anderson won that fight at all. He has some shining moments but i think the fight metric will show why Bisping was given the decision. You don't take the Count to decision.

Silva is an emotional fighter now. He needs to be mad or has to be hurt in order to fight.

Had it the same as the judges. Silva only got rounds 3 & 5. Just spent far too much of the fight playing around and not actually trying to fight. Anytime, he pressed Bisping back and attacked, he lit him the fukk up. He did it so infrequently though that it's tough to score any other rounds for him. He looked overall slower as well.

And no taunting and deflecting strikes should not be counted towards judging, that's ridiculous.

Silva has never listened to his corner. Can't recall all the times they would tell him get off the cage, attack, etc and he would just brush them off. Hes 40 and is not about to start over. He still wants to put on a show and wow but the physical talents have clearly diminished

I'm not sure if i've felt more agitated watching a fighter than that last 2 minutes of that 5th round. No killer instinct, no awareness of the situation, no understanding that you were likely losing the fight in rounds won. It didn't matter that you fukked him up bad in the 3rd and beginning of the 5th round, because you ALLOWED bisping to nickle and dime u in the scorecard for rounds 1 2 and 4! That standing around arms down lettin him pop u in the face so you can prove he can't tag u consistently.., smh he doesn't have to tag you consistently, just enough times to win the round b/c you arent' being active your damn self!

So you pretty much HAD to finish him in round 5... which i thought he understood with how he started. But then he just became content halfway through

Missed the fight because my nephew's b-ball team went undefeated, I wasn't gonna miss that but I see Bisping won. Anderson ain't fought but 2 times in two years b I'll have to check it out and see what happened.
