That's what I'm saying, he was up against the cage similar to how mayweather will purposely go to the ropes or the corner, roll and counter

he landed the clean punches, the oblique kicks, he did everything significant in the fight

the fact people can seriously have a different opinion shows nobody knows anything about effective striking

Same things I was thinking. I prefer boxing since I've watched it since the 80's but I like a good mma fight as well. This was a good fight but the judging was retarded. Silva dictated nearly every aspect of this fight except for the end of round 2. The straight kick to the face should've been the nail in the coffin but I don't know what the hell mma judges watch for at this point.

I was thinking in my head I wish Silva would stop going against the cage and attack more because MMA judges don't have much of a concept for defense and clean strikes landed or damage. They mostly look for octagon control and aggression even if shots don't land. MMA judging is trash in general.

What's the point of Bisping pressing the action, but when Silva back is to the cage, he ends up missing badly and rather just go back to the center of the cage lol.

Letting people press you to the cage and attack you for long ass spurts like that is just stupid. There was no reason for it and it cost him. Has nothing to do with MMA judging. It's a awful tactic that serves no purpose. I really don't get the controversy. Bisping outworked him clearly. Bisping was damn near KO'd at the end of the 3rd and Silva goes out there in the 4th and doesn't do shyt until the last 30 seconds

I legit wonder what Herb Dean woulda done. By all accounts, Bisping is DONE right before the bell, one follow up hit shoulda ended it. But the shyt woulda been right AT the horn. Do Herb got the balls to award the win to Silva or will he call saved by the bell?

Silva got robbed but he deserved to lose for not doing shyt after he had Bisping completely ripe for a finish. Dumb nikka probably gassed and adrenaline dumped after celebrating early and IGNORING Herb Dean .

Bisping was ready to give up after the third but Anderson decided to give him time to recover by celebrating as if the fight was over and then gift him the fourth round by playing games.

Anderson gave it away, but props to Bisping for toughing that out. He was KO'ed in the third and then easily coulda dropped in that fifth, but he stuck it out and eke'd out the decision. Dude showed heart, I really respect that performance.
