I don't even mind if he voted Trump, it's just going over there handing his belt and groveling that got me like. :hhh:
Yeah. There's:
1) People who voted for Trump.
2) MAGA Trump supporters.
3) People who worship him and Elon like their gods.

All three are not mutually exclusive to each other. If you voted for him because you think he is the best option for some reason, so be it. But this cult like worship and extreme MAGA supporters can go somewhere.

Ain't watch the UFC in about 2 years but see Bones Jones still doing GOAT things. Some of y'all shocked Jon be c00ning , well 99% of black MMA fighters are c00ns. Every MMA gym is full of with guys who have the same mindset and love Trump.

I think the UFC need firepower bad maybe it's just me, but the new fighters aren't as popularizing as the ones were in years past. At one point I watched the UFC as just as much as boxing, but those days are long gone I don't even know who the legit contenders are anymore.

Like WWE post Rock going to Hollywood and Brock leaving for the NFL. UFC doesn't want stars bigger than the product look at all the issues theyve had with McGregor post Floyd/Khabib fights. He basically tells them to :camby: I fight on my terms. Ronda ducked out ASAP. Even Jon Jones while having different reasons for not fighting over the past 5 years dictates his own terms. Ngannou got fed up of their nonsense. What they want is Jim Miller Cowboy Cerrone Kevin Holland types who they can plug in at anytime no questions asked.

You are spot. The UFC has NO polarizing fighters anymore. The last one left is Jon and he's been in game for 13-14 years. They have no upcoming fighters like Anderson Silva, GSP, McGregor, Rousey.

Everyone feels mid or like a journeyman. I feel like the 2015-2017 time frame ushered in this period when folks like Bisping were launched into prominence

Brazilians seem to be doing a fantastic job marketing themselves and at the same time delivering exciting performances, but no matter how popular they get they will be limited by the language.

young English speaking fighters either talk but are boring as fukk in the cage or are exciting but not really into promos and marketing, and of course there are all the Conor wannabes like O'malley who doesn't really has charisma but its kind of faking it till I make it.

You right I saw first-hand just how larger than the sport itself McGregor got, and I imagine Dana doesn't want that to happen again. He's always going to pay his fighters peanuts because he wants them to always depend on the UFC.

And the Dagestani fighters are their draws for the Muslim/Gulf audience. So they don't need them to be larger than life personalities because they fill a particular market.

I mean joke or not hes the interim so either fight him or vacate the belt :manny:

What Jones has figured out, belt is meaningless unless the person holding it matters.

Most can't tell you who has belts right now, no one cares. If Jones vacates the heavyweight belt, Aspinall fights some other bum to unify it, no one cares. It gets passed around, no one cares.

Stipe had the belt all those years, no one cared. Most can't even really tell you who he was fighting to keep it. Maybe DC and Francis they can tell you about...maybe.

Jones realizes he's the last of a dying breed and has all the leverage. We care because he's involved, otherwise, absolutely no one would care about what Tom Aspinall is doing.
