If the Pereira vs. Hill fight goes through without any injuries/suspensions, I can say Poatan restored order to the LHW division.

Izzy vs Pereira or Izzy vs DDP (if he beats Strickland) are two big money fights in the waiting. But I would really like to see Izzy take a "tune up" fight after how badly he got washed by Strickland. Much respect to Pereira, he won two belts in a very short time in MMA. :salute:

The man took like 20 unanswered elbows to the head. And the commentators are complaining that it's too quick? :dead:
The elbows were a result of positioning he was just in a weird spot but he was clearly still lucid

The nikka took 10 elbows to the head and collapsed into being mount

i wouldnt count that out in MMA :manny:

the fact so many are calling it early means they're all seeing the same thing

jake collier vs chris barnett being the most recent example, barnett had his back mounted -- totally trapped -- and was bludgeoned for half a round before coming back and winning by TKO in the 2nd.

if some low level heavyweight slobs could be afforded this courtesy, it needs to be shown in a title fight

nikka said after the fight he was out.

he got knocked down twice in ten seconds and wasn’t intelligently defending himself.

he thinks he's a samurai, he isn't about to whine at this point. it doesn't take away from what a lot of people saw.

the barnett fight as an example showed the same thing -- ''eating shots'' is not intelligently defending oneself...but he was moving, and even though it was a brutal decision on the refs part, that was the basis on which it didnt get stopped. it came down to barnetts durability vs jakes cardio, and the helpless victim outlasted his opponent.

why couldn't that be seen here in a title fight is all i wonder. if alex truly had him, it wouldnt have taken that much longer to find out.

That nikka collapsed onto his back, he wasn‘t moving, he was falling :mjlol:

once he stopped intelligently defending himself and his legs gave out, he gave the referee opportunity to stop the fight so it’s his fault and no one else.
