Looking at the top of that MW division ranking, Pereira could beat any of those guys, with the toughest challenge being Whittaker.

Regardless of which way this goes, it will be interesting for the division. I think either Izzy or Alex could vacate and move up. Izzy has cleaned out the division and Pereira cuts an enormous amount of weight to make MW.

and Izzy got humbled in LHW. Middleweight has zero wrestlers who can pressure. LHW is a different beast with guys who can change levels and people with comparable reaches/height

Only time I was nervous for Izzy before a fight was against Blachowicz.

I'm slightly less nervous for this fight. No theatrics this time around. He looks all business for this fight.

Interestingly, I think the Jan fight has prepared him for this one fighting a bigger man.
