This is fukking stupid. People too often give way too much credit to the person who gets you over the hump and not enough to the person who got you to the hump in the first damn place.

CB was a good player and he was instrumental in those titles, but without LeBron they arent winning a title. Wade and Bosh isnt beating OKC or SA in the finals. They might not even beat whoever LeBron found to come play with him in Cleveland if he signed long term.

And for additional context, Bosh got hurt Game 1 against Indy. Heat beat them with Battier/Haslem small ball.

Bosh didn’t come back til game 5 against Boston. Series was 2-2. Lost game 5, Lebron had his classic game 6 (Bosh might traded if Miami doesn’t win that game), Miami goes on to win the series.

Bosh is definitely one of the most under appreciated players in recent history and was extremely valuable to Miami

But in no way shape or form was he ever more valuable than Bron, that’s just ridiculous. People get on these podcasts and just say the dumbest shyt

Bosh is what made the Bron/Wade combo work. If they got a CP3 or Melo instead, that team wouldn’t have been as successful due to fit

For as much as people clowned him for not being as “cool” as Bron & Wade at the time, he is 100% the prototype for the modern day PF/C who can score inside/out AND anchor the defense. Wouldn’t say he was more important than Bron :skip: but he deserves his flowers for sure

Brolic... Alcoholics

HE WAS THE ANCHOR OF THAT DEFENSE
AND ALLOWED THEM TO SWITCH EVERYTHING
WHILE ALSO SPACING THE FLOOR ON OFFENSE.

BRON HAS PLAYED WITH STRETCH BIGS EVER SINCE.

That year they beat the Spurs, I think he was the only 7 fter on their team. Maybe that tap out to Shuttlesworth doesn't happen if Duncan is in the game, but it definitely doesn't happen if Bosh isn't.

I get what he is saying. However D. Wade was declining and Bron was peaking so that gap was even bigger. Secondly it was D. Wade that was the one out all the time so if Bron was out you was just ass out. Lastly, we saw Bron and to a lesser degree Wade carry them without Bosh and with him as a shell of himself in 12 and then Bron carried them again with Bosh getting owned by Roy Hibbert in 13. That aint happening with Bron out or hobbled and we saw what happened in the one series Bron aint show up.

lebron haters ran in here quick af ... :dead:

there's no alternative reality where miami is a better team without lebron or they even contend for a title without lebron on their team. why? lebron was near the height of his powers and straight up owned the eastern conference during that time frame.

for about 10 years (while at cleveland, at miami, back at cleveland) the only teams going to the eastern conference finals were lebron led teams. just stating facts...

Yall arguing semantics. He stressed "important" not "best." Bosh was the glue guy who made everyone's job easier on both ends of the court. In that context he can be right.

Why ignore that Mike Miller is right there cosigning?

Not watching this bullshyt, but seems off by the description

LeBron is the NBA player that is LEAST likely to have a person who can come in and replicate production.

He's making it seem like LeBron was just a scorer, and you could plug in another scorer.
Horace Grant gonna come out and say that Bill Cartwright was more important during the Bulls championship runs than Michael Jordan because they had Craig Hodges whenever MJ went to the bench.

:wow:
