I have a hard time believing you live in New York. :dame:
I'm in the suburbs.
I just work in manhattan.
Actually living in NYC with those savages and cost of living?

I don't think most people would. I'm almost certain that they'll lose riders if they completely go that route.

I think so initially but after a year or so once people get used to seeing them and realize it's safe, it will become normal.

Also keep in mind fares will drop a bit due to not having to pay a driver.

I see this going two ways.

It works well and the company sees millions in profits....
Or it works terribly (cars crash, money has to be paid out in liabilities, lawsuits, etc.) and they continue to put out almost billion dollar losses each fiscal quarter.

Automatic Cars are better than actual drivers and thus safer. Money paid out in any accidents would be no different than your typical insurance policy that covers all the terrible things you named. Unless people are not ready to get onboard with the driverless car movement there is no way this loses Uber money.

I don't know if I would personally feel safe in a driverless car.

Tell me simply.

I'd prefer one sentence.

Where does the money come from to pay EVERYONE for not working?

The same place it comes from now...taxes.

Where is this not working thing you keep spouting coming from?

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Nah, they are moving onto phase two which is to get rid of the drivers, once they no longer have to pay for them they'll be fine.

Imagine how many people are going to be doing hella extra curricular shiit in these whips.

I'ma be beating off in it out of principle.

Cabs where I live charge $5 anywhere in town.
:yeshrug:

If I was hanging around in the city I'd just take the subway anyway.

Uber probably makes more sense in cities with shytty public transit. Like Los Angeles. Or all of Florida. Lol.
where do you live at?

If weed can be legalized in some states with some form of Obamacare, then, dammit, basic income has got to be the norm to save capitalism. You think America can handle 250 million unemployed people, with no social benefits? :aicmon:

If the public puts enough pressure in it, it will come. These white conservatives are going to die out since they ain't having kids anymore and too burnt out in drug use, it will happen in another 30 years tops.
People said this a generation ago, and then all of the young white men voted for Trump in the election. :mjpls:
