This is an interesting point that I've been thinking about since you posted it, but then I have to ask where that leaves us specifically. They come for us first and come for us persistently, and other demographics don't give a shyt. Then they make power grabs by going after other targets and winning support there, but we know they'll use that newfound power on us like a bludgeon as well.
So what are we supposed to do? Invest in the wellbeing of others regardless, and accept we're just at a losing position because of pervasive Anti-Blackness?
To be fair most people by and large do not care let alone think about politics to that extent
That goes for everybody from black to cac, rich and poor
even with it being topic fodder on the social medias
To put in perspective, when you consider the overall population of the Civil Rights movement (Using the March on Washington as example)
That was around 250,000 out of 189,000,000
That's about 0.00013% of the then US population
What that number is now, who knows
So I can't speak for anybody how they should feel personally
But anybody thinking shyt can't get any worse or that the process of continued subjugation of an oppressed people doesn't result in mass causalities
Might wanna brush up on history. Cause shyt can always get worse.
