No doubt. I have all these beats and I have no idea where I sampled a lot em from.
Yeah, I don't think cats fully appreciate how difficult it is to recreate a lost beat when you have hundreds of them stored across thousands of disks.
It would be literally impossible to recreate without a specific log of what type of drums you used, how it was arranged, which samples went where, etc.
I've been around producers that have lost beats due to their MPCs and other samplers no longer be able to read floppy disks. I can't fathom a dusted out Rza with a thousand projects, side ventures, tours, and life in general being able to recreate shyt during that era. He claims he doesn't even know where he sampled "Glaciers Of Ice" from so he could never recreate it. And that's a beat he could access at anytime today.

even if he was one of the doper members, just let it be. these events were 22-23 years ago, the group does very well. about as well as any veteran act has done touring, youd think he was a scorned former member thats not gettin any bread

I really dont think some of you know how they really interact as brothers. I have certain fam/friends that I talk to like that. RZA doesnt take that serious because its like U-God is the retarded one in the group...not literally...but....yeah....

Exactly. Again, one of my favorite things the Wu has done is the long 94 London freestyle session that is 35-40% rhyming and 60-65% dissing, snapping and arguing. One of the best insights into the group dynamic that still goes on to this day.
Dissing Deck trying to DJ, calling U-God "Ice-T looking muthafukka," Meth wanting everyone's per diem for being the only one rhyming, Ghost wanting to spit Meth's rhymes, everyone clowning Meth's solo drop, etc... but every time they sync up over a beat, it's the best shyt ever. That's how they've been and how they'll always be. Wu-Tang forever.

they all love each other...thats why they are on camera together. U-God is just a shyt talker. like Meth said, same nikka that dont like nuthin....you dont think they be clowning the shyt outta U-God? im sure they all have gotten it at some point. RZA is not perfect, but he put a whole lotta people in a position to win. ppl clowned him for Northstar (which was a terrible project) but those were his homies. he tries
hes got Young Dirty gettin some bread, im sure some complained (rightfully) about it. people seem to like the performance so hes stuck around for a few tours
