Coloureds have their own unique identity and culture which is distinct from both white and black S Africans. Trevor Noah is simply a mixed South African that identifies strongly with being black.

Not every country defines “black” the same, not sure why the internet is up in arms over her calling herself “colored” if that’s a racial designation in her country.
