Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
We just saw that fight breh And Rumble will likely win again. Then what? another title shot for Rumble? Way too soon.

In my opinion, as laughable as it is, Bader deserves to get the next shot. Have Gus fight the winner of OSP vs Glover for the next shot. Man LHW is severely lacking contenders.

Bruh, if Rumble wins he fights someone else. If Gus wins he fights for the belt.

That fight is as intriguing as they come at 205.

Watching Rumble/Gus II right now is too early in my opinion. The division is too low on contenders to set up that fight again (Rumble will likely knock off one of the very few contenders in Gus) . Right now the contenders are Bader, OSP & Gus. That's it. Bader will likely get the next shot. OSP is fighting Glover. Gus is recovering from injury and should fight the winner of OSP/Glover imo

After seeing how good Silva did against Weidman on the ground compared to Belfort makes me realized how good Silva was:whew:

Thats what I am saying. Weidman had Silva and Machida on the ground and they at least maintained a defensive guard/wrist control. Belfort was on the bottom flopping around like a fish. It was ridiculous for a guy who got his BB at 17

I think vitor getting that opportunity he did against jones was helped with trt. I was there in person and vitor looked aged. He also admitted he just couldn't get Weidman off of him because he was a lot heavier than expected. As someone mentioned earlier Weidman isn't some slouch at all on the ground.

Silva like to stand up and trade that's just who he was most evident was against Damian Maia. But it was widely considered Silva's wrestling was the weakest so he constantly worked on his TDD but when a true collegiate wrestler got his hands on him Weidman/Sonnen we saw what happened... His bjj is not underrated its just we never see it like Aldo we never get to see it.

I agree with @The Infamous match up.

Weidman is legit I just wanna see him face rockhold

A lot of good match-ups for Weidman - Rockhold, Jacare, Romero & Mousasi.

Weidman is for sure legit. He's got a chin on him too

He didn't seem to like seeing his own blood but he recovered quite well from that Vitor blitz that tends to floor most people

He's like the San Antonio Spurs in the sense that he does everything pretty proficiently but nothing dynamic or flashy.

If it goes to the ground with Souza I favor Weidman he's considerably bigger then jacare.

Romero may gas and I don't see him getting the best of Weidman in the clinch or ground

Depends on which mousasi shows up.

I think rockhold has the strength to face Weidman

Just my opinion on these match ups for Weidman.

I also like the lhw match ups you had mention

The size difference between Jacare and Weidman isn't much, a bit more than 5 pounds. Jacare is 6'1 and walks around at 210 pounds, while Weidman is 6'2 and walks around at 215 pounds. Jacare is a big MW.

You would never see this kind of sloppy bar room fukkery in a high level boxing title fight. I'm an MMA fan, but that's just sad to watch. A world champ sprinting with reckless abandon at full speed and tripping like an idiot instead of pacing himself like a pro. Outside of grappling (wrestling/BJJ) MMA is a circus.

On that note, any else think it's weird that Vitor had zero defense from the bottom? No hip escapes, no shrimping...anything. He looked liked he never trained yet he's supposed to be a black belt.

-when arlovski won. . .that man got me into MMA
-dodson's lackluster win
-uriah hall not living up to his potential
-cerrone giving makdessi that work
-weidman being such a bıtchmade nıgga
-cormier winning the belt. . .smh

that thunderous punch by rumble though! :damn:
That baby fat on cormier face protected him
