What does Michael Page have to do with weidman beating old men, machida got washed by Rockhold, if a few months ago I said Rockhold would submit Machida easily you would laugh at that

the MW division is trash, which is why all the tops guys are old, I also believe Weidman is on PEDs, and with the new stricter policies, there will be a step decline
No one said he hasn't proven himself, he is just not impressive, I have rockhold beating him

The fact is he did not look impressive against an old machida, was gassed, and got beat up, but Jon Jones DOMINATED Cormier like he's done so many others

Cormier has only been figt for 5 years and doesn't have the wear and tear Anderson has who's been fighting since 16, Victor was like 18 when started fighting in the UFC, Machida has 15 years clocked in, it's no comparison

stop comparing Weidman to Jon Jones who is PED ridden body can't stop being injured

:scust:

It's hard to take you seriously after you said Page would submit Weidman.

MW is a better division than LHW at the moment.

PED ridden body? Baseless statement.

Take your awful posting to the boxing section of the Ring.

That's all you have to say, but can't address anything else

the fact is Michael Page is better than the anderon silva weidman beat

MW is better than LHW when the last two guys fighting for the belt were washed up LHW, okay

the fact is weidman just doesn't look special, which is why people aren't high on him, it's just facts

Anderson was washed up, machida is fading, now old man vitor is next for a title shot, it doesn't make sense if MW is so stacked like you said

why even reply if you can't even say anything relevant ,all you is say woat, oh I can't take you serious, shut the fukk up man you sound like a virgin nerd

If you knew anything about PED use, you would see how injuries weidman's has can raise suspicion to abuse

but you are the same dumb ass who thought jones was using because of a ratio

My picks/thoughts/predictions

Even tho I am not excited for it, its the best lineup of the year.

FP prelims

Scoggins UD
Machevek UD(hes a Khabib teammate so expect a lot of good sambo grappling)
Pyle UD

FS1 prelims
Rose UD(both action fighters but Rose has the advantage grappling)
Hall UD( This honestly could go either way. I am still not convinced on Hall and probably never will. He should land the power shot on Natal that has him shook but Natal could overpower him)
Burkman UD( This is another close fight. Stung Gun can fight intelligenty using his clinch work, judo, and range strikes. But the low IQ action fighter Kim leaves himself open for counters, which Burkman is good at. Burkman is reliable and hard to put away.)
Dodson TKO RD 1 (Interesting to see how Dobson looks after the ACL. If Dobson doesn't kill him early, Makosvy may have a shot since Dobson has period of inactivity. But Dobson hits hard and is fast. Makosvy is hittable and inconsistent)

Main Card

Benividez Sub RD2- Benavidez is probably arguably the #2 125lb. Moraga is a solid wrestler/boxer but we already saw him struggle with the elite. He also struggles with competition below him before getting an opportunistic finish. Benavidez is faster, has better movement, pressure, etc. I don't think Moraga can get away from Benavidez.

Browne UD- AA had a horrible ugly win over Schaub and knocked out Big Foot whos a kitten now. Hes still that one dimensional kickboxer who only throws his right hand. ANd he still does not respond to getting hit well. Browne easily dispatched the same Schaub Arloski struggled with. Hes striking looks more technical and fundemental then the silly flying shyt he was doing under Jackson/Winklejon. I don't think Arloski has anything for Browne at this stage. He still has power but Browne has a great chin

Cerrone UD- This fight will be more competitive then ppl think. Makessi has good power in his right and knows how to cut angles to land it. He can get inside and hurt Cerrone like Alvarez did. But Cerrone is in his prime. Makessi struggles against range kickboxer and he will give space to Cerrone later. Plus, hes a tri star product so you know he will go through periods of inactivty in addition to not checking any leg kicks. Thats not a good strategy against Cerrone. I expect Cerrone to put it away in later rounds

Weidman TKO RD 3- Vitor hasn't fought since 2013. Thats a long time esp considering his age and coming off TRT. He has historically fared poor against fighters with skill sets like Weidman. Weidman is a pressure fighter who backs you up to the cage with kicks and solid boxing to set up the clinch/TD. That will neutralize Belfort range striking/counter boxing. I just don't see any avenue for a Belfort win. Weidman has faced better strikers in Silva/Machida and won those exhanges. He has a good chin. I expect this to look like the 2nd Coutoure fight where Weidman just drags Vitor down at will and punishes him until he breaks

Johnson UD- I originally had Cormier winning this but the more I think about it, I see a better case for Rumble. He has probably the best TDD in the UFC(outside Joanna). He is excellent at turning angles and throwing guys off him. IDK. Jones exposed a lot of Cormiers weakness. He was getting countered a lot in that fight. Rumble is a much better counter boxer then Jones. Jones was also able to zap Cormier cardio with good body hooks/knees. Cormier has to get inside and use dirty boxing to keep Johnson on his heels. He basically needs to make this ugly because he has no range striking and Johson can land all kinds of hooks/kicks from the outside. Cormier just comes in a straight forward line. Johnson's hands are too fast and powerful to avoid with that strategy. I just don't see Cormier volume and predictable attacks phasing Rumble.
