Cormier is in his prime and young in "getting punched in the face" years....not a good comparison IMO.

This fight is 50/50....I Might miss it, though. :wow:

You said a few months ago th
at Michael Page would submit Weidman. :dead:

Outside of Anderson, Weidman has the best resume in the division. He's the best MW in the world. He's more than proven himself. This Saturday he's going to finish Vitor.

His recent opponents have been up there in age, but they're still very good wins. Are we also going to discredit Jones for beating an 'aging' Cormier (who's 36)?

What does Michael Page have to do with weidman beating old men, machida got washed by Rockhold, if a few months ago I said Rockhold would submit Machida easily you would laugh at that

the MW division is trash, which is why all the tops guys are old, I also believe Weidman is on PEDs, and with the new stricter policies, there will be a step decline
No one said he hasn't proven himself, he is just not impressive, I have rockhold beating him

The fact is he did not look impressive against an old machida, was gassed, and got beat up, but Jon Jones DOMINATED Cormier like he's done so many others

Cormier has only been figt for 5 years and doesn't have the wear and tear Anderson has who's been fighting since 16, Victor was like 18 when started fighting in the UFC, Machida has 15 years clocked in, it's no comparison

stop comparing Weidman to Jon Jones who is PED ridden body can't stop being injured

I also have rock hold beating Weidman. I think jacare is good but a tad bit too small for him to beat Weidman or rockhold.

Whole card is stacked, I'm interested in seeing uriah hall, I think he'll put on a show.

As far as the main events: I respect weidman as champion but he looks unimpressive to me. Not taking anything away from his wins but silva bs the first fight and the fluke injury in the second(even though weidman won the 1st round of the 2nd fight). He fought "timid machida" who only decided to fight in the last round. IF he beats vitor, no matter the outcome of the win i'll give him his props. The longer the fight goes, the better the outcome for weidman, he will take vitor down & win a decision.
you will be impressed when he beats a dude off his magic elixir who's been inactive for over a year and has been around since the 97?

A lot of people still don't believe we're seeing a new rumble even with a TKO over GUS. Rumble has to stay off the cage & not let cormier dirty wrestle him to a victory. Cormier is not a KO puncher and he was able to walk through JBJ's punches but he CAN'T walk through rumble's. Even though rumble is at his natural LHW, we still don't know about his conditioning. But I have rumble winning via strikes in the 3rd round, maybe sooner.

To me the worst thing that can happen is if cormier wins. From the start of the 3rd to the end of the fight jones outclassed him. Nobody wants to eventually see a rematch of that shiit.
that's the sore point a lot of ppl are missing. The division is already starving for depth I mean the talk of bader being up next says.it all but to have cormier who got outclassed in every way by Jones be champion devalues the division and title
