I can't believe we're finally going to see Weidman/Belfort. :mjcry: This fight was originally announced over a year ago. :francis: Vitor pulled out of their UFC 173 bout, then Weidman pulled out of their UFC 181 bout and finally Weidman pulled out again for their UFC 184 bout. :dwillhuh:

I won't believe it until they're both in the Octagon on Saturday.

Weidman might tear his oblique sneezing tonight.

just watched ufc 187 embedded ep2, cormier drives a prius. kinda unexpected, but whatever.

then i break one of my usual rules and scroll down. and what do i see? people shytting on cormier because he has a prius. fukking youtube haters are the worst.

i bet if cerrone or weidman drove a prius they'd gush over him for being economical.

Whole card is stacked, I'm interested in seeing uriah hall, I think he'll put on a show.

As far as the main events: I respect weidman as champion but he looks unimpressive to me. Not taking anything away from his wins but silva bs the first fight and the fluke injury in the second(even though weidman won the 1st round of the 2nd fight). He fought "timid machida" who only decided to fight in the last round. IF he beats vitor, no matter the outcome of the win i'll give him his props. The longer the fight goes, the better the outcome for weidman, he will take vitor down & win a decision.

A lot of people still don't believe we're seeing a new rumble even with a TKO over GUS. Rumble has to stay off the cage & not let cormier dirty wrestle him to a victory. Cormier is not a KO puncher and he was able to walk through JBJ's punches but he CAN'T walk through rumble's. Even though rumble is at his natural LHW, we still don't know about his conditioning. But I have rumble winning via strikes in the 3rd round, maybe sooner.

To me the worst thing that can happen is if cormier wins. From the start of the 3rd to the end of the fight jones outclassed him. Nobody wants to eventually see a rematch of that shiit.

The excuses keep rolling in when he wins.

seeing how he's making his name fighting aging UFC stars I can see the doubt, weidman doesn't look dynamic when he wins even when it's by KO
one of the main reason he hasn't become a draw

and after Machida put a lot of damage on him, then Rockhold steam rolls machida in dynamic fashion, people see weakness

vitor's old as fukk with a lot of miles no TRT, a victor over him will not silence the critics no matter how he wins

You said a few months ago that Michael Page would submit Weidman. :dead:

Outside of Anderson, Weidman has the best resume in the division. He's the best MW in the world. He's more than proven himself. This Saturday he's going to finish Vitor.

His recent opponents have been up there in age, but they're still very good wins. Are we also going to discredit Jones for beating an 'aging' Cormier (who's 36)?
