Disgusting senseless violence. And if it's true they had beef for awhile, the scissors kind of make sense. Someone kicks down your door, you're gonna automatically decide it's fight or flight time to protect your family. This is 100% on the shooter, who clearly wanted this to happen.

The wife got him called by distracting him not once but twice. The shooter didn't have any chance of upping his gun with dude in his face. He would of definitely lost trying to pull it out in his face.
Texas we have the Castle doctrine that doesn’t charge anyone for this situation. There was one just on the news about a restaurant robbery and dude tried to flee, shot him in the back and head, finished his meal while waiting for the police
