We stand on two different principles

There’s bullies everywhere, running only leads you to another one unless you have the means to price yourself into a gated community.

Unless I had some real beef that I activity participated in another man is never running me out of my home. It’s just not going to happen

They had repeated in-person arguments since 2018, dude even tried making multiple official complaints on them to make it stop ... sounds like beef to me. Kicking their door while armed, dude coming out with scissors ... sounds like beef to me.

And it's Vanderveer Houses at that, well-known for bad living conditions ... and many people who move out of places like that mention those things as a factor in why they move out. That kind of stress is not good for people long term.

I understand the frustration
- Current people above me have about 3-5 kids
- One day it got sooo bad I had to go up there( in a nice way and asked them if they could keep it down ).

Previous person before them used to lift weights and drop them on the floor and had a boxing bag( I could always hear the punching etc ).

The only option this guy really had was to ask to be moved to the top floor or just move to another location. The Cops & Rental office are not going to do anything.

Listen the shooter deserves death....but why do some of you keep repeating the wife's account of what happened when she left some key details out?....She wasn't even aware that her oldest son was in the hallway.....I can't take her account of what happened as a fact....I can only go by what's on the videotape.........She says the shooter tried to kick in the door. Yet when you watch the released portion of the video he is calmly standing by the steps.

The shooter was wrong and got what he deserved (Death)..... but the husband wasn't some innocent victim.

Noise does not bother me that much cause I'm used to it and live in NYC.

If it did bother me I would do the same thing and knock on the door and nicely ask them can they turn it down. Now if I have to keep doing that, I would just call the cops for a noise complaint, and if they do it more after I am filing a complaint with the landlord to get them evicted or me moved .

I'm not justifying the shooter's actions......Just pointing out that the father could've handled the situation in a manner that would've increased his chances of survival............ The shooter was 100% wrong for shooting the father in the back....but can you admit that the father was wrong for threatening the shooter with scissors?
