Now that this show is gonna air on Netflix can the paint-by-numbers cop procedural element of the show take a complete backseat to the supernatural/biblical elements?

If anything they'll double down on some of the supernatural stuff but the cop stuff is key to the show. it's how all of the relationships develop and flourish. It's where the themes and metaphors are. They'll probably just shorten the amount of episodes and make it feel like less because it'll be contained.
