Watched the 1st episode of Motherland: Fort Salem. I liked the concept of the voice being a weapon for witches and some of the powers they use, but hope the character types and writing improves as the season goes on. Will continue watching for now.

The premise is cool but they need to tone down that lead lesbian white girl. Her character is obnoxious as fukk.

I heard a lot of networks are just picking up pilots based on scripts, talent attached since production is shut down. It does mean any bubble show has a better chance at being renewed.
