That Legends House show from 5 short years ago is full of ghosts now :merchant:

Always wished they did more seasons with different classes of all-time greats.

Pretty sure there was a second season planned and wrestlers chosen for the house and they ended up shelving it.

In fact I think Legends House was originally filmed for Syfy or another network, they ended up passing and WWE network just added it “new” content.

Watched the Steiner Brothers vs Doom w/Teddy Long from 90; Teddy got his zebra print du rag snatched off to reveal his George Jefferson hair :mjlol::mjcry:

Now ramdomly watching the 2011 Rumble; this is right before I started watching again so its kinda weird to see the mix of guys that would be considered top wrestlers of the coming decade, guys who Im surprised are either still around or just recently stopped, and guys that completely fizzled out

Every match the Ultimo Dragon was involved in on Nitro was good. Dude was low-key one of the best workers out there in the 90’s.

The whole Hitman-Austin feud culminating in the double turn was executed perfectly from start to finish.

Owen Hart was guaranteed chuckles whenever he put on the headset. He was a better color commentator than he was a promo guy. I think he could’ve had a future with it full time (RIP).

Sid was always :trash: to me and I never understood his WWE crowd bumps.

WWF didn’t give 2 fukks about their tag team division before the NAOs, E&C, Hardys, Dudleyz, Acolytes era. The only tag teams they had worth a damn were Owen/Bulldog and the Smoking Gunns. Owen/Bulldog were more solo wrestlers they put in a tag team. The Smoking Gunns basically fought them and no one else good so they never really had an identity cause no one put them over after their first surprise title one. WCW on the other hand was pushing their tag team scene heavy at the time with Sting/Luger, Harlem Heat, Steiners, Road Warriors, Faces of Fear and Outsiders and they often were main event matches.

Last Raw of 96 ends with finally off curtain call probation IC champ HHH bare-handedly laying waste to Goldust and Marc Mero at the same time and leaving them and Marlena laid out outside the ring.

Who knew that would be a harbinger of the next 2 decades of supervillain booking for this 10 minute snorefest promo spitting roided up Alex Wright?

Yeah Sid always seemed like he was over. He was alright to me, but the fans rocked with him. And speaking of Sid I just rewatched the Wrestle War where he damn near killed Brian Pillman. I always :picard::damn: Every time I watch that powerbomb

Mid 1994-late 1996 is really the peak. By the end of 1996 most of the best talent had moved on to WWE or WCW and the remaining top guys were breaking down, but also RVD's rise starts so :yeshrug:You'll be able to tell when you're in for a batch of garbage shows within the first 3 minutes.
