Just now watching great American bash night 1 and in the backstage segment, gargano makes Swerve look like a giant. Johnny wrestling is gonna flop SO hard when he gets called up. He should try to just stay on the black and yellow brand permanently.

Does ANYONE remember the follow up to the Billy and Chuck wedding angle was Rikishi dressing up as a big lesbian only to pull off his latex face just like Bischoff and giving Eric the stinkface? And then Billy and Chuck being split up about a month later?

I'm not sure there has ever been a more pure stud A1 alpha male athlete than Kurt Angle in 2002. Any company, any country, any era.

Smackdown was clearly over powered

The Halloween 2002 episode has: Benoit vs Edge, Tajiri vs Matt Hardy, Eddie vs Kurt, and Brock vs Rey. Also Cena's rapping debut.

From a smark perspective, yes. And thats why smark writers praised and still praise it so much and treat 02-03 SD like it was gold and 02-03 Raw like it was mediocre. Just star power wise, they were pretty comparable though. Kane/RVD/HHH/HBK/Austin when he was around, Jericho, Booker T, Christian, Flair, Nash, Goldberg, Orton/Batista... Raw was definitely equal as far as name recognition and over stars.

SD was great at the time but Raw was mostly good also in 02-03 imo.

Raw definitely didn't have as much star power or in ring talent especially from Summerslam on.

SD had: Brock, Taker, Angle, Eddie, Benoit, Rey, Edge, arguably Rikishi I guess. Plus all the cruisers.

Raw had: HHH, RVD, Jericho, Flair, Christian, Kane, Jeff Hardy I guess. Plus all the hardcore guys and women.

SD was clearly bigger and better in stars and talent even from the start but it got more uneven as the year went on even with quite a bit of shuffling around in the summer months.

Only in terms of "workers" or "in ring talent". You left off Booker T and Shawn Michaels and then Nash and Goldberg in 03. The "names" and star power are about equal. To a smark Eddie, Angle, and Benoit are an unrivaled trio but as far as star power and recognizable names, they are no bigger or more important than Kane/Jericho/Jeff Hardy.

You're right I forgot about Booker but I'm talking about 2002, particularly between Summerslam and Survivor Series.

In WWE canon, Scott Steiner signed with Raw because Stephanie wouldn't fukk him :mjlol:

This dude's first appearance on Smackdown was doing one of the most aggressive ass slaps/grabs I've ever seen in any medium of Nidia where he pretty much grabbed her a$$hole, and in the attempted contract signing with Smackdown, he grabbed Steph and threw her down on the table and was ready to fukk her in front of the audience right then and there. She wouldn't fukk, so the crowd chants SLUT SLUT SLUT at her and Scott bails on SD.

Not long before this, Bischoff forced himself on her after being dressed up as Vince.:scust:

The amount of bizarre sex shyt Vince has put his daughter into over the years :gucci:
