Eddie been hitting home runs every fukking show. I’ve always preferred Flair’s crazy late 90s promos over his 80s ones for the most part. I used to think he was washed in the ring at this point but he was just as Naitch as ever. Goats gonna goat.

I missed some of this lower card WCW fukkery back then. Meng vs. Barbarian. Barbarian is in the last remnants of the Dungeon of Doom along with Jimmy Hart. Meng wins and gets jumped by Barbarian, Hart and Hugh Morrus. They hold him while Jimmy Hart delivers a splash from the top rope.

But wait...to Meng’s rescue comes...


Hacksaw Jim Duggan! Meng doesn’t know wtf to do as a face. Looks like he’s just there to collect a check.

Brian Adams vs. Mongo. Yeah I think Imma pass on that one.

Re-watching The Invasion angle.

Quite honestly they had a good thing going in the early stages. If they would have just milked it and gradually brought in the top superstars like Flair, Goldberg, Mysterio, Hogan, Hall, Nash, etc it would have worked. If they would have waited for their contracts to be up, WM 18 could have been stacked..

They needed Bischoff to be the leader along with Shane as well.

Still amazing to me how WWE fukked up the “Endgame” of all wrestling storylines

Yeah and even as shytty as the angle got, the crowds were still super hyped every week the entire way through so even though it's obviously a trash angle and biggest disappointment and failure in wrestling history, it's still not bad to watch because the shows/crowds still had energy and there are some real bright spots like Austin/Angle/RVD.
