Several backstage WWE plans and opinions regarding talents currently grabbing the attention of management.

To no surprise, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett are the three favorites among Vince McMahon, Triple H, Kevin Dunn and others. One source said it's a race to see which of those three gets the world title first.

In terms of future plans and winning a world title, Reigns is almost guaranteed that his winning of his first world title will be special and done at a WrestleMania. Assuming things stay the course, it's very likely that could be next year at WrestleMania 31. As far as who he would work with, the two names that keep coming up are Brock Lesnar and The Rock.

Lesnar is an option but WWE is also considering other potential opponents for him at 'Mania. The Rock has expressed to McMahon personally that he wants to work with Reigns before he retires. On an interesting note, I mentioned to one source The Rock, and it being a title match, which would mean Rock would have to get the title going into WrestleMania and the source responded with "Yes, it would likely happen at Royal Rumble and remember he does technically have a rematch from when he lost the title to Cena."

WrestleMania 31 is still so far away that a lot can happen and many ideas will come across the table, but it seems barring injury or anything big that would get Reigns off-course, he's slated to be the babyface WrestleMania 31 gets built around

- WWE issued a new survey today and noted that they are considering doing DVD releases for Legends House, WWE Countdown, Total Divas season 1, The Monday Night War and WrestleMania Rewind. They're also considering the following DVD projects:
* A three-disc DVD documenting the real lives of WWE talents, similar to the Daniel Bryan Road to WrestleMania XXX documentary on the WWE Network.

* Long-form biographies on the professional and personal lives of WWE talents, similar to ESPN's "30 for 30" series.

* One Man Show - WWE Legends tell intimate stories on stage, inspired by the one man shows of Jim Ross and Mick Foley.

* WWE Reveals - in-depth looks at controversial moments in WWE history including Jerry Lawler vs. Andy Kaufman, the passing of Owen Hart, "The Curtain Call" in Madison Square Garden with the Kliq, Mike Tyson leaving prison after a rape conviction to help WWE kickstart Steve Austin as a major star, the XFL and David Stossel being slapped by "Dr. D" David Schultz.

- As previously reported, WWE has signed Savelina "Lina" Fanene to a developmental deal. According to The Wrestling Observer (via wrestlezone.com) Fanene's grandfather and The Rock's great grandmother were brother and sister. She was a star basketball player from California, and Rock's mother (Ata Johnson) suggested that she try pro wrestling after watching WrestleMania 28 live. Fanene wasn't initially interested in the business, but started looking into wrestling schools in California. She had the tryout with WWE and the company saw enough to give her a chance and sign her to a developmental deal.

- WWE officials have had discussions about doing a one-time event with the main roster at the NXT Arena at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

The event wouldn't take place until next year some time and would likely be a RAW.
