- We've heard anywhere between 100 and 300 fans attended Friday night's TNA live event in Bowie, Maryland at Prince George's Stadium. One fan noted that Bowie's local minor league baseball team, the Bowie Baysox, drew 3,141 fans at their most recent home game.

Below are several photos of the crowd from Twitter:

As we reported several weeks ago here on the website, there is a belief that WWE are letting contracts for wrestlers expire, instead of announcing their release, as a way to downplay the controversy and negativity toward the company when people leave.

WWE is now taking the strategy of no longer announcing the releases of WWE Superstars. They are letting the contracts expire, and the wrestlers will announce it themselves.

As previously reported, Tamina Snuka underwent surgery to repair her injured knee, as the WWE Diva tweeted a photo of herself laying in a hospital bed after the operation.

Apparently the surgery took place this past Tuesday and was the result of Snuka suffering a pretty major knee injury during a recent match, as she is expected to be out of action for approximately six months.

TNA is stupid for booking huge ass places when they have no history of drawing in that city. You can make 300 people look like a good event if you book it in a place that will hold 500 people, not 3,000+ at a stadium

In the spring of 2008, just weeks after John Cena’s piercing jabs were directed at The Rock, Dwayne Johnson inducted his father, Rocky Johnson, and grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia, into the WWE Hall of Fame.
That night a major rumor that was never confirmed or denied by the WWE was born.
According to unnamed sources widely quoted across the sports entertainment blogosphere at that time, The Rock and John Cena got into a heated confrontation backstage at the ceremony. The Rock is believed to have approached Cena about his harsh words and Cena was less than a gentleman in explaining the motive behind his remarks.
That evening, Cena was spotted with a laceration above at his eyebrow and some noticeable bruising and swelling beneath his eye. No photographs, however, were published to confirm this assertion. The following day at WrestleMania, there were no visible signs of Cena having been in a real-life tussle. But some continue to avow that The Rock slugged John Cena and was responsible for his supposed but not confirmed blemished countenance.
Despite three years of rumors, no eyewitnesses have ever testified to the veracity of this claim. In fact, those in attendance backstage reveal that Cena and The Rock were cordial with one another.
