- Prior to signing a new contract with TNA, Taz tried very hard to get back in WWE. Specifically, he wanted to return in time for WWE's recent RAW taping from Brooklyn, NY. Taz called several people in WWE, but it soon became obvious that Executive Producer Kevin Dunn had no interest in bringing him back.

During a recent production meeting, WWE EVP Triple H said, "TNA doesn't have anyone we need."

According to a WWE source, Randy Orton legitimately sustained a low grade concussion during his match against Alberto Del Rio at last week's Smackdown taping.

Although Alberto Del Rio does not have heat with Vince McMahon or Triple H, WZ was told that Del Rio does have backstage heat with talent in the locker room, as Orton is not the first person Del Rio has injured during his WWE run.

In related news, WZ was told Sheamus has heat with the talent because, according to multiple sources, he was "the only pain in the ass in the MITB Ladder Match" and was only worried about his own spots and not helpful in putting the match together.

UPDATE: The reason The Big Show did not return on RAW this past Monday was that he was not medically cleared. This meant that the segment with Mark Henry and The Shield had to be rewritten. Instead of The Usos saving Henry, it was supposed to be Big Show.

WWE is planning for the two to face The Shield in a handicap match, likely at SummerSlam. This is the reason they are doing The Usos & Mark Henry vs. The Shield match on next week's RAW broadcast. That was originally planned for SummerSlam.

-- As reported earlier, there apparently was legit heat on Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins over something that seemingly was petty. There is some speculation that it may have had to do with Rollins not knowing how to shake hands with other talent properly while one source believes the issues were specifically between Rollins and the Big Show.

-- Another WWE source said that the heat on Reigns was due to a botched spot with Randy Orton during a house show that led to the two getting into a backstage argument. Because of the differences in their status within the company (Orton is near the top and Reigns isn't), this led to an enormous amount of heat on Reigns.

-- As a result of these incidents, Vince McMahon wanted people punished whereas Triple H didn't want them punished and this led to somewhat of a power struggle as we exclusively reported in the past.

-- Despite this supposed heat on both Reigns and Rollins, the general feeling is that once the kickoff match between the Shield and Usos played out well at the last WWE PPV, any lingering heat on the wrestlers disappeared.

CM Punk's UFC reference EDITED
CM Punk's mention that Brock Lesnar was a former UFC Heavyweight Champion was edited off the RAW replay that aired in Australia. For what it's worth, Punk went "off script" during his promo as the UFC reference wasn't planned. Punk is known to "push his limits" when it comes to holding a live microphone.

It's strange that they dont want him to reference the UFC, yet they have brock come out in his UFC gear, with practically UFC gloves, and give him an MMA submission finisher.
