Bret is a wrestler's wrestler to me. In the cartoony WWF he always seemed like the one dude that wanted it for real. Listening to some of his shoots you come to realize that is actually true lol. But it was that attention to detail that made his matches(singles and tags) so memorable for me growing up and have also allowed the work to age greatly. WM 10 and the SS 91 Perfect match I probably watch once/twice a year and they are great pieces of work because of the engrossing story told in the ring. Bret is one of the reasons I need matches to be good for me to enjoy any product. Because when all else fails the name on the marquee is still wrestling. He was just so believable as the under dog hero and then the veteran turncoat that it made it easy to look pass his shortcomings. Yall have already said every reason. GOAT DA GOATMAN GOAT:banderas:

He's a 9

When he was on, his Swag was through the roof...but you can tell he's the kind of wrestler that NEEDS to be on top or else he is pouting backstage

He's in the same league as HBK, Undertaker, Macho, Piper, and Sting to me.

Can't put him at the top of the mountain with Hogan, Flair, SCSA and The Rock... but he's right under there

and as always it's fyck Terry Bollea though :pacspit:

What match was that second clip from? I never saw that Bret/HBK interaction before with Bret dropping the belt in front of him.

thats from an episode of Raw like a week or 2 before michaels lost his "smile" they were in germany I think. it wasn't a match, just an interview.

Arguably the best wrestler WWF ever had.
Never fukked up one move..
he lived by that Excellence of Execution moniker

WWF fed him shyt wrestlers that he pulled out 4 star matches with.

One of the key figures for the Attitude Era
(it was his idea for Austin to blade at WM13 against company policy, he would take full responsibility for the consequences. and It turned out being an iconic event)

Bret Hart vs Stone cold feud
is my favorite of all time

10/10
