I hate Bret and I hate Stone Cold
And Bret help create Stone Cold so I hate him even more. Most overrated boring “goat” candidate there is. Plus he helped kill WCW and I’m a WCW stan. And he took himself too serious. There’s 100 wrestlers easy that I’d start my promotion with before I took Bret. Including Owen and Bulldog.

I’m not biased. Gave him a 5. Solid in ring career. He was made famous by HBGOAT. Mark for himself. Generic appearance. He is forever defined by Shawn.
HBK been my GOAT longer than ANY of u here and even I say
with thisBret was a star before HBK. They both broke from their tag teams in 1991. Bret was world champ by 92. Actually defended it vs HBK at Survivor Series 92. Bret passed the torch to HBK not the other way around.

Bret The Hitman Hart is my favorite wrestler of all time. 15/10. Anything less is disrespectful. Yeah he was bland af on the mic and yeah his 1997 Heel Work is one of the GOAT times in wrestling.
What doesn't get enough credit these days is the brutality dude be spittin in his shoot interviews
I met Bret in person and the vitriol he still has to this day towards HHH and Hogan
This promo is what started the Attitude Era, fukk what anyone else say
I asked him was that promo a shoot or a worked shoot and he looked at me like "Damn they thought I was for real? Hell yeah!!
He said that Vince and the TV crew forgot to turn the tape delay on during the broadcast so by the time it hit on USA it was too late. That's why it was uncensored.
Anyone who says that Bret is a bitter old man should try walking a mile in his shoes and see if they make it that far

Easy Ten. Bret breathed the industry and showed in his matches. Dude was intense man, had an elegance to the way he performed.
Whenever he was in the damn ring, you watched and cared. Simple. It could be a weekly programming match with a young up and comer and they'd tell a story.
