The whole “Rock wasn’t a good worker” narrative is such bullshyt in MY opinion.

Dude sold an ass whooping in a very distinctive manner to the point you can picture him selling as I’m typing this. That matters.

call it comical, sure. .. call it overselling at times. .. fine. call it what you want but you remember it well . ..

people can’t mention the Stone Cold Stunner without saying “remember that one time Rock sold it like . ...”

Had fire as a babyface, great facial expressions whether on offense or defense.

.. had a REAL mean streak (Royal Rumble 1999)

Did people actually care when you were in the ring after all is said and done?

If yes then I dunno how people say he wasn’t a good worker.

Didn’t want or need to see flips or chain wrestling from a guy that size. ..

tell me a story.

He always did.

:manny:

It's total bullshyt. Reading some posts folks act like he's Warrior Warrior status. Even when he was green as shyt when he debuted he was hella athletic and you could see he had something that made you want to watch.

As I think about it more and more, I could argue that he contributed many in ring classics as anybody you can name in WWE history in a much much much shorter timespan. When you factor in out of the ring stuff, he only has one peer (Austin).

He had competitive matches with Benoit, Jericho, Eddie.

Mostly important aside from in ring shyt, he put people over. A lot!

This was a great match with great selling and storytelling.

Rocky made Hall look great and stand-off with Hogan was great.

Bret vs Rocky was outstanding. Rocky’s athletically was at his peak here.
