I personally don't think big name guys should be eligible for evaluation. Too many stans/haters that will skew the ratings and whatnot.

That being said, I give Shawn a 9
Exactly. The op made this knowing that HBK is by far the most polarizing figure in TSC.

He’s a 10. Why is this even a debate? How many current WWE guys call him the GOAT? Even guys like Jim Cornette who despised him will admit he’s one of the greatest ever. If I’m not mistaken even previous GOATs like Flair call HBK the best.

WWE did a top 50 WWE stars of alltime about 8-9 years ago. Who finished number 1?

So a guy we knock for being a backstage headache, a poor draw as champ, (who was saving WWE in 1996 anyway when NWO was blasting shyt?), and a guy who doesn’t like to drop the belt. That’s it?

Austin went home so not to lose to Brock on tv, also #beatdebra. Y’all gonna let those things stop y’all from giving him a 10?

Face it, 1997/98 Shawn Michaels was the most swagged out wrestler of alltime. He’s a 10 for me even if he never came back after WM14. Honestly, he’s the only white “athlete” I’ve ever stanned in my whole life as a kid.

TSC stays in their feelings I swear. I-hate-heartbreak-ass-nyggas

:yeshrug:I think you had to be a little kid mark growing up watching him to give him anything above a 7. I never understood the appeal. Skilled, talented, but not some naturally legendary figure like Vince's propaganda machine would have you believe. And he's a skinny guy whose big move is a kick. Wow.

:mjlol:that begrudging 4 from r=g, though.

:russ:knew he couldn't give him a 1, had to do calculus in his head to arrive at the appropriate disrespectful but accurate number.

Give this man a gold star. The hypocrisy of wrestling fans and the picking and choosing of who should be absolved and who should burn forever is stunning. Austin beats his wife and takes his ball and goes home but he’s the man. Shawn refuses to drop the belt and vacates it but he’s got the scarlet letter.
