10/10... The greatest to ever do it. His run from Summer of 97 to WM14 cemented him as the GOAT to me. The swag was oozing out of him, my personal favorite run of any wrestler.

In ring...10/10. Even if you hate HBK you know you were in for a gem. The list of classics go on and on and on. The list of match of year speaks for itself. He has classics we don't even talk about because the list of classics is so long. What's even more amazing is it's arguable but he may of been even better during his second run

On the mic...9/10...to show in not a complete Stan, his face stuff could be weak but HBK was a natural born heel. He was a babyface upon his return in 02 but in 05 he turned on the heel work like it was nothing, that classic Larry King promo, the Montreal promo, I don't think we've seen heat that hot since. And I already mentioned that 97 run. The break up of the rockers is arguably the greatest heel turn in wrestling history

Theres a reason he's your favorite wrestlers favorite wrestler

10/10

Im a have to agree wit @stro wit his assessment, that era of Shawn was terrible, yes there were Classics/Dope Matches like WMXI,WMXII,IYH Vs Diesel,IYH Vs Mankind,Summerslam Vs Vader(minus The Drama),KOTR vs Bulldog but he was too damn Baby Face with it while "Hard"Guys like nWo and Austin was getting a Boost, and it's a Shame cuz Shawn was at his Wrasslin Prime by 96.It wasn't until Mid to Late 97 when Shawn start to let em Hang is when he was at his true best(A shyt Starting Heel).I would take IC Champ Shawn from 93-94 over Boyhood Dream WWF Champ Shawn....All that said,I give em a 9,I understand some of his Politicking but if he wouldve chilled on the Bret Drama things for him,Bret and Austin would've tore shyt up for 98/99 so I dock him a Point for that,Otherwise he is one of the Greats and at the end of the day ya Cant Deny Talent

He forfeited titles instead of losing. He wasnt gonna tear up shyt and apparently they didnt want Bret around for the ascension of Austin.

That is true and it goes back to when I mentioned his Politicking and Unprofessional Behavior. Also If the Rumor and Innuendo is true, they wanted to make an Austin Vs Bret II for 14 if Bret had stayed(or had not gotten Screwed)

Swagger off the charts.
Making the marks mad 25 years later. 97/98 he was the pinnacle of what it meant to be a heel.

Is he supposed to be more? A failure as a top pushed star..overpushed, over praised, and overrated. Politically? A nightmare. Confirmed by an endless amount of performers. All these guys that look up to him and want to praise him pretty much are everything we despise about white privilege in the Trump era.

Every major match he's had? He gets the most credit. For what? Flopping around. Superman comebacks with that silly nip up and elbow drop shyt. The Angle WM 21 match is almost laughable by the last third of the match. Jericho outperformed him at WM 19 but motherf1ckers act like he didnt. Silly. There are so many lies attached to his perception that it's been a blessing he's been gone for 8 years

All in all, Shawn Michael's failing is why there was a need for Stone Cold Steve Austin in the first place by Jan 98. That's how much of a loser he really is. Cruiserweights in WCW had a bigger impact by 97 than he did. What a chump.

HBK is the GOAT :wow: His 97-98 heel run still got the virgins furious 20 years later this must be R=G in this gif :russ:
