I saw his timekeeping was not great. You'd have a 10.30 waiting for half an hour then the guy after that also turns up so now you have a backlog of people waiting for you.
this most barbers honestly. that's why I keep a barber who sets appointments and keeps them. I'm trying to show up and leave in under an hour aint nobody got time for that

I could never . My barber was out for a few months because he tore his ACL, I had a legitimate reason to go to another chair. F that, ended adding 10 more minutes to my barber commute and went to another city .

The dude next to him was Dominican and he was nice with them clippers too, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it .
Were you just trying to avoid the awkwardness when your regular did come back if went to Dominican dude?

Just tell him and be upfront, I am a walk-in 99% and I just go with whoever is available cause they normally do good cuts at the shop that I go to.

The owner is normally on break or headed out for the day but I go with the young bulls who are nice...

I tip well and chop it up so it's all respect....

These barber shop stories are straight 'tales from the dark side' shyt...

years ago i went into the shop, didn't see my barber there, so I looked up and this other cat was like "I got you:myman:"

I was like :manny: .... few mins later my barber walks in with one of those "Thank You Thank You Thank You" plastic bags with Chinese food in it, taps me on the shoulder like, "yo breh I had stepped out for a quick min, you woulda had next

"

He didn't even eat his food, just took the next customer and cut his hair the entire time looking down my way like:

just go to a new shop bro
ive seen a barber in my shop straight up ask a nikka in front of everyone why he was going to his brother for his cuts now instead of him. same shop, they were like 2 chairs apart.

dude was stuttering and staggering to explain, shyt was ackward as fukk. They catch feelings over that shyt and God forbid if you gotta go back to them for an emergency line up or need a favour from them. he aint lettin that shyt go.
