It's on them to object when shyt goes left. They are the professionals. The average person will tend to ramble on the stand. Especially if they are nervous. Objecting can never hurt. Worst that can happen is your shyt is overruled. But you still go on the record as at least trying. They know dude is getting wiped all over the courtroom floor and need an easy way out. Judge isn't having it.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall when they're begging pleading with him not to post on social media.
The craziest part is that this is a case strictly about documents and whether Trump engaged in a coverup of payments to a girlfriend by using his business. The prosecution killed it and they only brought Stormy Daniels up there to fugg with Trump. Trump's lawyers are dead in the water on the reason for the case and Trump is likely going to be convicted on that point. Yeah I think the same thing too. Pecker, Hope Hicks, and his accountant (McConney?) pretty much nailed him to the cross. Stormy isn't really needed.
Donald Trump's vanity is the reason that the defense lawyers even bothered going after Stormy Daniels. They wasted a lot of time.
