Dems screwed themselves by not having a proper next man up off the bench.

- Failed by even letting Hillary get the nomination and then exposed by Trump + her own wicked witch of the west-isms

- Cuomo and Booker were either not ready or let hype get to them and started acting like they could do whatever, especially in Cuomo’s case. Covid should’ve been a layup for him in terms of leadership but he was chasing pűssy

- Kamala was literally used to Chicken Noodle Soup the black vote and couldn’t even bake up a batch of pander butter biscuits as a thank you to the negro contingent

- They trot out Biden and hoped some residual Obama pixie dust was enough to get him in the Oval Office. Meanwhile the economy goes to shıt, border is more open than the ocean, there’s $ for wars but can’t feed the poor — and the president is looking like he’s being held together with maskin tape and matchbook covers + has a crackhead son.
Obama ruined Dems because they thought he was easily replicable and they've proven he's anything but. Obama is a generational politician/president that took a lifetime to build, and trying to copy paste his attributes on anyone with brown skin and a smile is no real strategy

So post Obama they've had no other branding strategy besides "Throw some Obama isms on him"

I agree about the optics. They need to give Biden a thorough and comprehensive media training. Right now. He has the message but he needs to bring it. Speak loud. At least match Trumps optics. We can't risk even the dumbest voters out there that think politics is a dating game.

But like you said, bad optics, but doesn't change you not wanting Trump in office. I think that's how everyone feels.

One candidate is old. The other is fukking annoying and got everyone living in fear. I just need this old motherfukker to stop playing and close the deal with the public.
Biden has been in policitcs for over 5 decades. He has had enough media training for multiple lifetimes

There ain't enough media training in the world to fix what we've been seeing for years at this point. The nikkas brain is shutting down

This nikka is being held up by strings and medication, glitching out in front of the world and you talking about media training:dead:

meanwhile you can have Biden at 4/1 to win the election in very liquid betting markets

You do realize the election is 5 months away. 538's aggregate had Biden as the favorite to win all last week.... after months of polls where Trump was "running away with it"... The polls are fickle at this stage.

Another thing, as Newsome himself alluded about, is that the Dems should be ashamed of themselves for throwing Biden under the bus and pretty much not showing a sign of solidarity. I don't believe each and every last Dem in the party feels negatively about Biden's performance last night, I'm suspecting that it's the progressives and Dems who already had disdain and disapproval for Biden since he was nominated back in the 2019-2020 election primaries who are loudly throwing him under the bus.

Whoever (because someone had to be the one to suggest) made and propose that statement last night should be disciplined because regardless if Biden steps down or not, they may have self sabotaged the party and their chances of winning just off that statement alone.

This wasn't the right time to do him like that because not only does it effect morale and confidence for Biden himself but also within the voters because you're putting the voters in a state of concern which can create apathy, even if you were to drop Biden the problem is that this late into the election season it'll come across as desperate and a sign of weakness/turmoil which the Republicans will pounce on that advantage.
