Solutions? What are yours

Peep for a second. Now lets take this recent census bureau report, which details some nice positive growth for black businesses:

From 2002 to 2007, the number of black-owned businesses increased by 60.5 percent to 1.9 million, more than triple the national rate of 18.0 percent, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's Survey of Business Owners. Over the same period, receipts generated by black-owned businesses increased 55.1 percent to $137.5 billion.

Census Bureau Reports the Number of Black-Owned Businesses Increased at Triple the National Rate - Business Ownership - Newsroom - U.S. Census Bureau

Now this story in the hands of st0rmfr0nt types, Im sure, would prompt all kind of ridiculous doom and gloom: "the white race is dying!!", "white genocide!", "black president!", "black attorney general!", "blm".."WE'RE DEAD!!". So this is roughly where y'all heads are at. This sort of deep-seated, dead end, mentality.

So solutions for what? Solutions for eliminating latinos, so you wont ever have to hear about any of them succeeding? Solution for y'alls mental health? Well, Im not a professional, but how about logging off the coli? Go volunteer at a soup kitchen. Go join a business minded club or society in your area. Do something productive, to get yourself out of this mentally-disturbed toxicity.

Wish y'all luck.

The window is closing for AAs in the US. Blacks keep voting for Democrats monolithically despite those same democrats ushering in their demise.

The only way this isn't a complete L is if Black people consolidate around a political agenda that includes reparations (reparations that go to subsidized / guaranteed small business loans, free STEM education, low / no down payment housing assistance). For whatever reason, too many black people see that as fanciful thinking despite the fact that, without black support, no Democratic nominee gets the nomination or the presidency currently.

I can't knock the Latino hustle though. I dated a Latina and the way they practice family and group economics is incredible. I still do business with them because they've carved a nice little niche for themselves and are serious about getting and deploying capital.

At the same time I'm still trying to activate my network with black people with the same education, resources, etc., but the willingness to take those risks isn't always there. Where I've had friends willing to do a venture with me, they haven't had the cash ready and vice versa.

Also, something that's underrated in terms of us not practicing group economics is how they stripped us of culture. Group economics is easy / default for other groups because if you want your group's food, the only people supplying are people from your group. If you want someone who can communicate with you in your language, same deal.

Look at barbershops. The vast majority of black people don't get cuts at Great Clips or white salons because black hair was something slavery wasn't able to take from us. Black barbershops are still central to black neighborhoods, and you have black people who live in upper crust neighborhoods who will still go to lower-class neighborhoods for cuts. Imagine if the same thing was happening when black people wanted to eat out, etc. Unfortunately, that kind of dynamic was taken from us when our cultures were taken from us.

Great post.

Practicing group economics is much easier when you have your culture, language, etc. in tact.

Those things create natural barriers to entry for other people entering your market.

So instead of using this as motivation to get off of the bullshyt and seriously get on out black empowerment game. We use this as an excuse to side with an open racist just to spite Latinos for doing what they're supposed to do? The fear lingering regarding Latinos is nothing but a deflection. They're showing you how to side-step white supremacy and instead of taking notes yall are hating. Pathetic indeed.
